I am in California right now; I am hanging out with my cousins. We've all come together for my cousin Emily's graduation. What great times we have together. Per our family usual we played poker last night. The three girls (Emily, Jessie and I...a.k.a the Commity) did alright, Uncle Pat ended up winning the big pot. I must say we had a great time.

I am truely blessed to have the family I have. Three of my cousins have given me great advice for school and gotten me really jazzed about the move to Buffalo. Two of my cousins live there now and one did all her undergrad and grad work at UB. So I've got connections in town and at school. I am so happy! I will have such a great network of family when I move to Buffalo. My cousin Jenny is on the wait list for UB Law so we could be going to the same school, not likely we would run into each other but who knows! Julie lives in the city of Buffalo so I've got an in to where all the cool stuff is, and Melissa still knows a bunch of people at the school.

We will be leaving California tomorrow and getting home around midnight barring any delays (fingers crossed). I miss Jeremy terribly and I know he misses me too. Our next adventure is a trip to the Adirondaks for a week of relaxation and meditation, writing, reading and painting. I hope to continue my study of Indian culture with a focus on Hinduism and Hindu stories.

Perhaps to prove I don't suck at life I found this really great quote by a dude that I only starting knowing by reading. So it only makes sense that I should find this ever echoing quote.
" Plus, writing is the only opportunity where one is able to simply talk, without worrying about allowing time for the listener to respond. What a wonderful selfish indulgence!"

Bon Chance mon ami!

First of all let me start this rant off with WHY THE HELL AM I NOT 21 YET!!!! I am the canadian equivalent!@!!!

Coming home from Europe is always disappointing because I am not allowed to drink (I drink responsibly but I still have to wait cause other kids my age don't... Lame!) nor am I allowed to go to bars where music is being played. Example Diplo is playing in Chicago (would I drive to Chicago in my busted ass p.o.s to see Diplo Yes) but I don't even get that opportunity to go cause its 21 and over. If I had a dime for everytime one of my friends started a sentance with "Hey steph do you wanna go... oh wait nevermind your not 21 yet" GUHHH. If I lived in Canadia this wouldn't be a damn problem now would it!!! Guh.

Rant over.

These hands were made for helping

in helps way I work when needed and walk when help won't be had.

I hope and I love and some where in some way, good will come of this.
The world will bow to your grace and beauty, despite you. You can grab life as it is and you can live as you will and that is beauty. That is you. All my love Monica.

I've been accepted to University of Buffalo and the University of Binghamton. I've yet to hear from Toronto and all of the intent to intend forms are due before I think I'll hear from Toronto. I m worried that my first choice will be my only choice. College is a pain in the butt.
